Marcus Fawaz

Marcus Fawaz was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2020 and was called to the Bar in early 2026.

Marcus accepts briefs across a range of litigation and dispute resolution matters, with particular experience in family law, child protection, criminal law and domestic violence proceedings.

Prior to being called to the Bar, Marcus held the role of Acting Chairperson of the Family Law Pathways Network in the Northern Rivers. At the Bar, Marcus has contributed to the legal profession by assisting the Queensland University of Technology in judging moot style assessments and volunteering as a witness in the Queensland Bar Practice Course.
