Kimberley Rogers-Ford

Kimberley was called to the Bar in 2025 and accepts briefs in criminal law, domestic violence, child protection, coronial inquests, and family law across Queensland.

She has a particular interest in regional and remote practice, informed by her upbringing in Townsville and Biloela, her completion of a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) at James Cook University, and her early legal career in North Queensland.

In 2022, Kimberley was the Associate to His Honour Judge John Coker of the District Court of Queensland in Townsville.

Prior to joining the private Bar, Kimberley was a Senior Police Prosecutor with the Townsville District Police Prosecution Corps. She prosecuted a wide range of criminal matters, including criminal trials, sentences, bail applications, committal hearings, and contested legal arguments. She also appeared regularly in the Children’s Court and Domestic Violence Court, and frequently in regional courts including Mount Isa, Cloncurry, Ingham, Charters Towers, Proserpine, and Ayr.

Kimberley commenced practice at the Brisbane private Bar in 2026. She maintains a strong focus on courtroom advocacy and is known for her measured and effective style.
